TREKKING

  

The most famous walk is the crossing Petropolis/Teresopolis. The C.A.P.A. realises this crossing in 3 days with 2 wild campings. We offer transport from the C.A.P.A., tents for 2 people, water bootles, all the food for the walk, guides and carriers for all the heavy equipment. One other schedule wich is competed is the walk of 2 days to the Açu castle and Portais de Hecules.

   
   

TREKKING DESCRIPTION  OF AÇU, PORTAIS DE HERCULES

SCHEDULE


1 DAY

07:30 - Meeting at the Paraiso Açu Adventure Camp, for the check of the rucksacks and orientation.

9:00 - Exit from CAPA initiating the walk in the National Park Serra dos Orgãos

11:00 - Arrival at the Veu da Noiva waterfall, abseiling beside the waterfall with a negative of 40 meters. Lunch will be served during the visit to the veu da noiva waterfall, and then after there is a visit to the Andorinhas waterfall, restart the walk in direction to the Ajax. At the end of the afternoon we arrive at the campsite previously set up in the AJAX (At the 2/3 on the way to the Açu castles, we get to a very beautiful plateau with a spring, and a spectacular view of the sky.) Per night in tents for 2 people.

2 DAY

6:00 – Breakfast in the refectory tent.

7:00 – Start of the walk to visit the Açú Castle, without baggage, only with the track lunch.

9:00 – Arrival at the Açú Castle, visit the belvedere and restart of the walk in direction to Hercules Portals.

12:00 – Arrival  at the Hercules Portals (Only place where we have the beauty and panoramic view of all the main mountains of the Serra dos Orgãos National Park, since the Escalavrado, passing by the Dedo de Deus (God’s Finger), Agulha do Diabo (Devil’s needle), Garrafão until the Pedra do Sino, the highest of the PARNA-SO 2.263 meters). Track lunch and return. Arrival at the Paraiso Açú Adventure Camp at 19:00.

OBS: IT’S ABOUT A HEAVY WALK, WITH AN UNEVENNESS OF 1.100 METERS, NEVERTHELESS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND THRILLING OF ALL THE EXISTENTS IN THE PARNA-SO.

DON’T TAKE ANYTHING UNNECESSARY, OUR CARRIERS WILL TAKE ALL THE HEAVY EQUIPMENT AS: TENTS, FOOD AND KITCHEN MATERIAL.

HOWEVER YOU HAVE TO TAKE A RUCKSACK WITH YOUR CLOTHES AND PERSONAL THINGS, THE SLEEPING BAG AND THERMAL ISOLATION MAT, IT CAN NOT PASS OF 6 OR 7 KILOS.                          

 

 

 

 

TREKKING CROSSING PETRÓPOLIS /  TERESÓPOLIS

SCHEDULE

DAY 1

6:00 – Meeting at the Paraiso Açú Adventure Camp, for checking of the rucksacks and for some orientation of the walk.

8:00 – Breakfast at the Paraiso Açú Adventure Camp (OPTIONAL)

9:00 – Start of the walk by the track of the Bonfin Valley, which takes to the Morro Açú (2.232 mts) and continuing the walk to Paraiso. (Place for camping with a good spring and without people’s weekend mess). Arrival approximately at 17:00.

Track lunch during the walk. Accommodation in tents 19:00 - Dinner

DAY 2

6:00 – Wake up and breakfast.

8:00 - Start of the walk, Following by Altitude Camps of a average altitude of 2.000 meters, with the crossing of the Pedra do Sino’s flume, and track lunch during the walk.

The objective on this day is to get at the Abrigo 4 campsite and visit the Pedra do Sino’s summit (2.263 mts) already in Teresópolis, arrival approximately at 16:00. Accommodation in tents.

19:00 - Dinner

DAY 3

 7:00 – wake up and breakfast

9:00 – Start of the walk in direction to Serra dos Órgãos National Park main center. Track lunch during the walk.

Arrival prevision between 14:00 and 15:00.  Return by van to Petrópolis to the Paraíso Açú Adventure Camp15:00 horas

End of our services.

WHAT INCLUDES: TRANSPORT FROM THE CAPA TO THE TERESÓPOLIS PARNA-NO ENTRANCE, PARK’S TICKET, FOOD FOR DURING THE WALK, GUIDES, CARRIERS, TENTS FOR 2 PEOPLE, KITCHEN MATERIAL AND HOT SHOWER IN THE PARAISO AÇÚ ADVENTURE CAMP.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: CLOTHES TO CHANGE AT THE ARRIVAL, BATH TOWEL, GOOD HUMOR AND DISPOSITION TO DO ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND HARD CROSSING IN BRAZIL.

FOOD – IN THE PARAISO AÇÚ LODGE THE RESTAURANT WORKS WITH RESERVES, SO PLEASE REQUEST WITH BEFORE FOR YOUR LUNCH OR DINNER. THE PRICES VARY FROM R$ 14,00 TO R$ 17,00.

THE BREAKFAST ON THE 1 DAY CAN BE SERVED AT THE PARAISO AÇÚ ADVENTURE CAMP, PLEASE REQUEST BEFORE, PRICE = R$ 12,00

OBSERVATION: IT’S A HARD WALK, WITH UNEVENNESS OF 1.000 METERS, THE GROUP SHOULD USED TO WALKING IN UNEVEN PLACES AND FOR VARIOUS HOURS, DON’T TAKE NOTHING UNNECESSARY, OUR PROPOSAL IS TO MAKE THIS WALK THE BEST POSSIBLE, BE READY TO MAKE 2 WILD CAMPING.
